About the Location
The retreat will be held at Cornet Bay Retreat Center, located within Deception Pass State Park. The retreat center is on the waterfront and surrounded by old growth forest and has views of Mt. Baker.
The facility can accommodate up to 70 overnight guests and an additional 30 daytime visitors. The sleeping quarters are bunk bed style and split between a bunk house and duplex. Linens are not provided. Bring your own sleeping bag and pillow (or other linens of choice). There is a limited amount of space for tent camping, as well.
There is a recreation hall with an area for eating and a fully equipped kitchen. All meals will be provided and led by a professional. In order to keep costs down and offer this retreat at an affordable price, we ask that attendees participate in some shared (but easy!) group tasks in meal prep or clean-up. We’ll make it fun!
“Freedom to me is a luxury of being able to follow the path of the heart, to keep the magic in your life. Freedom is necessary for me in order to create, and if I cannot create, I don't feel alive.”
